What are your fondest memories of high school dances?
Most American adults say they attended dances in high school -- 68% of us. So, what were we most interested in?
• 62% of attendees say they went to socialize with friends.
• 44% went to dance and enjoy the music.
• 38% attended with a date
• 18% showed up in hopes of meeting that special someone.
And just over half of us -- 52% -- went to prom. Americans have lots of fond and not-so-fond memories of prom night:
• 84% slow-danced
• 70% received a corsage or boutonniere.
• 34% rode in a limo.
• 29% had sex on prom night.
15% got in trouble with the police.
