COMING SOON: NUTRITIONAL LABELS ON YOUR BEER AND BOOZE
You can expect to see nutrition labels beginning to pop up on all of your favorite alcoholic drinks - including beer, wine and hard liquor.
The labels are voluntary for now and are part of the FDA's plan to make food and beverages more transparent. Liquor companies are hoping to take advantage of the labels to show their low calorie and low carb benefits.
Beer companies that don't target the light crowd may opt out of the nutritional label game while they can.
EYE CONTACT IS MISSING THESE DAYS... (TIP: THE IDEAL GAZE LASTS 7 TO 10 SECONDS)
A study suggest people don't make enough eye contact during conversations nowadays.
Researchers found that adults make eye contact between 30% and 60% of the time in an average conversation, but people should be making eye contact 60% to 70% of the time to create a sense of emotional connection.
Experts say holding eye contact works best for 7 to 10 seconds in a one-on-one conversation-- and for 3 to 5 seconds in a group setting.
They say that people who stop their gaze too soon or avoid eye contact altogether are often seen as untrustworthy, unknowledgeable and nervous.
